Photographs have an amazing effect on people. They can stir up old forgotten emotions from years gone by and can remind you of special times too. They bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eye without you even knowing.
As a mother I understand how important it is to make the most of those special moments! As a professional photographer, I hope to help you capture those treasured moments that will soon become hard to remember. The camera is simply a mirror with memory. It remembers life's little things, long after time forgets them.

My story...
My name is Letitia, a professional family photographer based in Garsfontein, Pretoria East, specialising in babies and young children, from maternity and newborns, to children from all ages. I choose to focus on kids producing beautiful images with true impact.I am a mommy of two beautiful children. Watching them play and playing with them is my favourite pastime. In early 2006, with the support of my husband Jacques, I went professional with my photographic arts. Hoping to do for you what I have done for family and friends for many years.

My personal goal…
I want my images to tug at your heart. I want to create timeless portraits that show your child's individuality in a comfortable way. I want my images to warm your soul in challenging times. I want to help you capture the wonderful moments that we all take for granted and have difficulty remembering. In short - I want to write a storybook through photography, on a day in the life of your child…
About your session
The session takes more or less 90min depending on the type of shoot. During this time I will set up a view different "looks" and use a variety of props that will make your photos more interesting and beautiful. I have a wardrobe with children's clothes that works well, but feel free to bring a change of clothes if you like.
Each photo shoot is altered for individual taste and style. Children are encouraged to bring favourite toys and clothes.
I understand that you are keen to display your artwork in your home or perhaps pass on as a gift without delay, so I aim to have your artwork ready for collection as quickly as possible. Gift vouchers are also available, and make a fantastic present. Please contact me for more details.
After your shoot, I will use my trained artistic eye to choose a selection of the best images from the session followed by a detailed editing process. Chosen from many hundreds of raw photographs, the selected pictures will be custom cropped to enhance composition, expertly adjusted for tonal range and completely edited to ensure flawless presentation. This time intensive (and far too often neglected) process, is just part of what separates my photographs from other photographers work and enables my prints to be rightfully called, Fine Art.
As soon as I'm finish editing your photos, I will send you a sms with a link, username & password where you can view your photos. You are also welcome to come back to the studio to view a larger version of your photos and discuss any specific requirements, such as canvas prints etc.
After you have viewed your photos and you have decided what you want, you can just email me or phone to place your order.
Everything is priced individually – no package deals! I prefer not to have my clients feel forced in spending a fixed minimum amount. This gives my clients the opportunity only to pay what they truly like and want. As a mother myself, I would rather be able to afford more frequent visits to a studio with the kids than spending the yearly photography budget in one go - they grow up too fast! Also, I prefer to have long term relationships with my clients – not just for a single visit.

Good news. I have NO booking fee, NO fixed pricing, NO minimum spend. You simply order what you like (as below) - that's it!
Why? I simply trust my work - and would rather see you more often! This works better for us all in the long run...

- Weekend bookings are available, at a R80 charge.
- Photos will be made available online for viewing indefinately. However, orders are expected within 3 weeks from the time of releasing the photos to the client for viewing please.
